Missy Derr is originally from Columbus, Georgia, where her family has been involved in real estate for two generations, cementing an enthusiasm for helping people achieve the ultimate American dream of home ownership. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbus State University in addition to studying at Oxford University, New York University and the Penland School of Crafts.
She is a member of the Atlanta REALTORS Association, the National Association of REALTORS, and the Georgia Association of REALTORS. By honing her skills to truly listen to her clients and deliver upon their needs, Missy has enjoyed connecting numerous buyers and sellers within the Atlanta real estate market and looks forward to helping others!
Beyond a passion for real estate, Missy enjoys being active in her neighborhood association, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, experiencing live music and collecting art.

I am originally from Columbus, Georgia, a charming town located on the Chattahoochee River.

Favorite Neighborhood
I am utterly in love with Atlanta but I'm most drawn to Southwest Atlanta and East Point for their charming homes built in the 20s to 40s. I love a bungalow and you can't beat the Beltline expansion!
Proudest Moment
I was recognized by an article in the Wall Street Journal for creatively and effectively getting my clients' under contract during the insane market created by the Pandemic.
